We insulate, board and open up lofts across Yorkshire, the North East,
Derbyshire and South East Scotland — and we survey yours for free before you decide anything.
A loft asks you three questions. Most people answer them in the wrong order.
Insulate it, board it, get into it. Each decision changes the next — which is why
the survey comes before the quote, and why we do all three in the same visit.

One section, three states. Insulation first — always first — because the boards
decide how much of it you keep. The drawing is a generic roof, not a survey of your house.
01
Insulate it
How much heat do you want to keep?
Wool laid between and over the joists, at full depth. Our LoftZone deck sits on legs
above the wool so the boards never press it flat — and the insulation correction is free with every
LoftZone installation.
changes · heat loss / the height you lose
02
Board it
How much of it do you want to stand on?
Boards turn the void into floor: somewhere to stack, walk and find things again. The
LoftZone system is BBA-approved, and the claim attached to it is that it does not invalidate an
NHBC new-build house warranty. That is why it is the deck we fit.

03
Get into it
How do you get up there without a stepladder and a torch?
A hatch that meets current UK building regulations, a ladder that folds away behind
it, and an LED light with a switch you can reach from the opening.

02 — What we do
Six things go into a loft. They are not six separate projects.
One survey, one visit, and everything fitted together. These are the six parts of the section above —
and the pages that explain each one properly.
The same section, indexed. Numbers run left to right, ridge to hatch.
We come out, measure up and tell you what your loft can take. Free quote, including a
no-obligation survey — and no pressure to book the work.
02
Schedule your project
You pick the date. We plan the day around the house, the landing and whatever is
already up there.
03
Let’s build your loft
Ladder, hatch, insulation, flooring and light go in together. A loft can be ready in as
little as a day.
Not sure which of the three decisions you need? Ask us on the phone — it takes five minutes.
04 — Packages & finance
Free insulation correction, with every LoftZone installation.
If your loft is already insulated, it may be patchy at the edges or squashed flat
under old boards. With a LoftZone installation we put that right as part of the job.
LoftZone’s own cutaway: the deck stands on legs, the wool keeps its depth, and air still
moves above it. Manufacturer’s diagram.
Monthly payment plan
Pay over 6 or 12 months, interest free.
No added fees. Credit is subject to status, and the full terms — including the
representative example — live on the finance page.
Insulation, boarding, hatch, ladder and light can be priced together. If your loft
needs something different, we prepare an individual offer after the survey.

05 — Installations
Real lofts, photographed by the people who did the work.
No renders, no show homes. These are our own before-and-after photographs from
recent installs — including the ones where the loft is a tight squeeze.
Before → after
Wool at the verges, boards across the middle, and a hatch you can actually get through.
“Your new loft can be ready in as little as a day.”
That is the part people notice — not the boards, but the fact that the mess is over
by teatime. These photographs are ours, taken on the day, in lofts that were sometimes a very tight
squeeze.

We cover a wide band of the north — from the Scottish Borders down to Derbyshire,
and across to the Humber. If you are near the edge of it, ring and ask.
